张和平，毕业于北京戏剧专科学校话剧表演专业，一级编剧。曾任北京市委委员，北京市第十届政协副主席，北京人民艺术剧院院长、北京市文联主席。现任全国人大代表。 长期从事文化创作和管理工作，以“金牌策划”闻名影视界。策划组织创作过电视剧《宰相刘罗锅》、《过把瘾》，电影《离开雷锋的日子》、《不见不散》、《张思德》、《云水谣》，贺岁京剧连台本戏《宰相刘罗锅》等几十部影视作品、舞台作品，这些文艺作品均荣获国家级大奖并得到广大观众的好评。国庆联欢活动艺术总监。
