山崎终(堂本刚饰)、麻生惠子(国仲凉子饰)、大场琴美(柴崎幸饰) 、孝平(安居剑一郎 饰)是中学时代的好友，四人有着各 自的不同的烦恼。相隔数年，在一场同学会中相遇，没想到这次的相遇竟让终、惠子、琴美目睹好友孝平跳楼自杀。孝平在自杀前问了大家一句话「往后的人生有什么好事值得期待吗？」，三人皆答不出来，于是孝平一跃而下。这件事给了他们相当大的冲击，同时也让这三个人陷入无法自拔地的人生迷惘。 他们几个国中同学在同学会上相遇后，开始展开一段全新的友情和恋情故事。制作人濑户口克阳表示，这出剧中的年轻人表面上都很幸福，但是实际上对自己都没有信心，对现状也都抱持着自卑感，此剧想描写的是年轻人内心深处不平衡的一面。
