NHK的第106部晨间剧。比嘉畅子在回归前的冲绳北部山岳地区出生长大，回归后开始在东京工作。虽然相隔千里，但在家人的激励下，她在家乡的“食”中找到了属于自己的生活方式，不久便开了一家冲绳料理店。畅子是四兄妹中的二女儿，有哥哥、姐姐和妹妹。四个人各自走上不同的道路，也会有心情分离的时 候。尽管如此，故乡冲绳的味道，回忆，将四人的心连接在一起。在遇到困难和挫折的时候，他们会互相帮助，互相支持。
