唐小柒是一名实习记者，骆一是“瞳眼真相”公司的兼职美编，两人都是临城大学的大四学生，五一放假唐小柒陪骆一去公司交稿，两人在乘坐媒体楼的电梯时遇到另外三名男生：学神秦泽、大一新生季臣熙、歌手陆子倦。当电梯升到第九层时突然停运，随即坠落并爆炸。当唐小柒再次睁开眼睛，却发现自己在30秒前的电梯里，她很快意识到自己陷入了无限循环。唐小柒为了救人和逃出循环，尝试了各种办法，随后依次将陆子倦和骆一带入循环。
